What makes P.S. Events different?

Why hire a Wedding Planner?

Weddings are fabulous, wonderful, emotional, and exciting celebrations of your new life together! However, planning a wedding is a ton of work. A wedding planner is a professional consultant who will help you with most (if not all) of the tasks involved in planning your wedding. From vendors, accessories, etiquette and even the smallest of details, this expert has the skills and contacts necessary to make your day come together seamlessly and allow you to enjoy your engagement. 

What is the difference in a Venue Coordinator and a Wedding Planner?

A Wedding Planner works exclusively for you, while an onsite coordinator works for the venue. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event. We not only manage vendors and set out your personal touches, but we make sure the entire production of your wedding runs smoothly. Most importantly, our role is to have an eye on every moving piece including the venue, to ensure the day is seamless.

I am planning a destination wedding in Saratoga, but I live in another city/state, can you help me?
Yes, we can! In fact, many of our clients do not live in Saratoga – So we are very comfortable with out-of-city/state clients and communicating via phone, e-mail, FaceTime, and Skype.

Does P.S. Events Travel?

Yes. Although we are based in Saratoga, we are able to create a customized destination wedding package for wherever your dream wedding may be. Additional travel-related expenses may apply.

Will you work with vendors we select, or only those you recommend?

We will absolutely work with your choice of vendors, we love meeting new people and developing new relationships. However we have a great team of preferred vendors that we work with should you need any referrals.

What if family and friends offered to help me on the day of?

Friends and family can be so wonderful in their willingness to help you set-up and run your wedding. But since they are your guests, you’d likely rather they enjoy themselves than spend your wedding day stressing over the details, feeling in over-their-head, or missing important moments with you. As experienced professionals, we can take over that role instead, so while you get to have a fun and meaningful time at your wedding, those closest to you do, too!

Will you have an assistant with you on my wedding day?

Yes, for weddings of over 75 guests, there is always an assistant, and sometimes more than one depending on the size of the wedding.
